Push Out The Good Vibes

“As you think, you vibrate.  As you vibrate, you attract.” – Abraham Hicks

 

We’ve all heard people say many times before phrases like “She’s got such a positive vibe” or “The place had an amazing energy” or "Good vibes only" but we tend to give little thought to the actual science behind what is being said. 

 

Everything vibrates.  The Universal Law, the Law of Vibration, states that everything in our universe consists of pure energy that resonates a vibrational frequency that can be measured.  Everything you see around you is vibrating at one frequency or another. All matter, our thoughts and feelings are pushing out a unique vibration.  So if you choose good thoughts, you’re choosing good vibes and you’ll be on a vibrational frequency with like minds with like thoughts.  Hence the saying “Like attracts like.”

 

When your vibes are higher you feel good, you feel centred, happy, healthy, peaceful, creative, light and free.  When your vibes are lower you might feel tired, drained, weighed down and may harbour feelings of anger, guilt, frustration, jealousy, resentment and so on. 

 

Have you been in a tense or sad situation and felt a sense of heaviness? Or have you been to a concert, watched a musician belt out your favourite tune and felt an amazing buzz? These are common kinds of examples of our ability to tune into the different frequencies and energies in our lives.

 

Unless you’re a Buddhist monk meditating 18 hours a day high up on a Himalayan mountainside, we’re all going to have some form of low vibration.  The objective is to be aware of how we feel and what kind of vibes we are pushing out, and to try to make them as awesome as possible.  Listed below are ten simple ways to help raise the vibes and push out the good feelings.  Have a crack; you might begin to feel amazing!

 

 

10 ways to raise your vibration

  1. Meditate

  2. Be aware of your thoughts. What you think becomes your reality so try to keep it positive and challenge any negative thoughts

  3. Practice gratitude daily

  4. Get stuck into some random acts of kindness. You’ll put a huge smile on someone’s dial and feel amazing at the same time.

  5. Stay active.  Get the blood pumping, the endorphins flowing and release any pent up energy

  6. Take a few minutes out of every day to appreciate the beauty around you. 

  7. Eat well. Food is fuel; keep it as natural as possible. You’ll notice a difference.

  8. Drink lots of water.  Drinking water flushes out toxins and increases energy.

  9. Say no to something that drains your energy.

  10. Put the tech down and read a book.  Reading a good book is to the mind what exercise is to the body.
